CPTC wins 2005 VTR Newsletter Award

 Six VTR club publications were recognized during the banquet at the 2006 VTR Convention for their accomplishments during 2005. They are:

• The Triumph Tribune – Triumph Register of Southern California
• Triumph News – Central Pennsylvania Triumph Club
• Snic Braaapp – Illinois Sports Owners Association
• Buckeye Triumphs Newsletter – Buckeye Triumphs
• The Spokes – Richmond Triumph Register
• The Triumph Tribune – The Triumph Club of the Carolinas

Here is what The Vintage Triumph editor, Mike Cook, had to say about Triumph News.

“We head back east for the second 2005 winner. Triumph News is the monthly newsletter of the Central Pennsylvania Triumph Club. This long-established group is based around the PA capital of Harrisburg. Triumph News is printed on 8˝ x 14 sheets folded in the center to make a nearly square format. It’s folded again for mailing, reducing it to the size of an ordinary letter and doesn’t seem to suffer damage in the mail as do larger publications. This is a folksy, family-style newsletter with some surprising stories, technical tips and club event coverage that makes you want to put the top down and join them!”

We are certainly in great company. All of the newsletters cited are premiere journals with a long-standing reputation for quality. Our congratulations go to Editor Scott Suhring for producing one of the six best Triumph publications in America.
