CPTC Winter Party at Allenberry Resort. A great time to get caught up on what everyone has been doing over the winter, great food from the brunch buffet and start to get ready for driving the TR's again (spring is fast on the way). Board Meeting - General Membership Meeting. This is the first of the year quarterly "pub meeting". Meeting to be held at Skyline Restaurant along Rt 22 between Rt 30 and Mountain Road (7410 Allentown Blvd.) Meeting starts promptly at 3 PM.

Apr 21 CPTC Event Penn State Blue/White Game Fun Run Rich Roenigk will lead a band of die hard Triumph and Joe Pa enthusiast up to Happy Valley for some tailgating and Penn State Football. No parking/admission charge to see how the team may be for the year. A fair weather event - contact Rich at 717-846-6109.
Apr 22 British and European car show at the Williamsburg Winery, Williamsburg, Va. sponsored by the Colonial Vintage British Car Club of Virginia. Apple Blossom Charity Run  Click here for the flyer and form to register by April 14 for this CPTC sponsored event. All proceeds to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund to conquer childhood cancer. See the April newsletter and teh flyer you should have received in the mail further details. Bring a picnic lunch and support this worthwhile cause - and CPTC is matching the $10 registration for every British car driving the event through the beautiful York/Adams countryside at the peak of the orchards boom time. Be sure to pre-register. Rain or shine.  If you won't be able to make the run, you can still send in you donations for the Four Diamonds fund. See the above form.

May 5-6 Hershey Hill Climb This is a non-competitive vintage race that involves pre-'73 cars, experienced drivers and lots of side events for the crowd. For more info see their web site at http://www.svvscc.org/
May 5 The British Are Coming Lewes, DE British car show. Drive your TR down to the shore for a great show held in the downtown historic district of Lewes. Show from 11-3:30. Popular judging with awards. For more info contact Mike Tvier at 302-645-8550.
May 6 Artistry in Motion Join in the10th annual grand tour and show to benefit the Lancaster Museum of Art. For more info, contact the museum at 717-394-3497 or visit their web site (Click here). 
May 18-20 Carlisle Import/Kit Car Show at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. This is a traditional gathering for the CPTC and its members. Register your TR early and be sure to indicate that you are with the CPTC. We will again have the club tent and provide lunch to members on Saturday. May 26- Jun 3 British Car Week -  This has become a world wide event for British car owners to get out and drive their classic British cars. June 3 Original British Car Day  - 30th annual Meet sponsored by the Chesapeake Chapter of the New England MG T Register. Always a strong showing at this longest running British Car Show. June 7 CPTC Event Board Meeting - to be held at Joe Laurito's home. Meeting starts at 7:30. Members welcome and encouraged to attend. 
June 9  CPTC Event The Reading Run Always a great time driving the back roads of Berks County, visiting an historic site or area attraction with a great meal. Scotty Boyer and Cliff Grube will be providing more details.

July8 BIG - British Invade Gettysburg - Register early for this and join the CPTC caravan to the Gettysburg outlet shopping mall that will be filled with British cars, bikes, and shopping opportunities. 300 cars last year - so sign up early.

 July  13-15 TRF Summer Party - located in Armagh, PA. This has been in August but is moved to the weekend of the VTR Nationals so those traveling long distances can make a week of it in PA. VTR Nationals The Vintage Triumph Register National Meet for 2007 will be held close to CPTC this year, just down the road at Valley Forge. The Delaware Valley Triumph Club is hosting the event which runs through the week so plan your vacation accordingly. More info available at http:vtr2007.com/index.htm
July 29 CPTC Event "Spring Run" will be a little late this year, but better late ... Bill and Paula Shover will put their spring driving minds to task and provide a great run. With the gypsy moths eating the foliage on most mountains, it may appear to be spring.  Stay tuned.

Celtic Festival held at Spy Glass Ridge winery south of Sunbury has again invited CPTC to visit our British cars upon the event gratis, park around the pond and partake of the merriment. The club will once again assemble the Triumphs at the Fort Hunter parking lot on Front Street, Harrisburg at 10:30 for a drive over the mountains to the winery. Aug 26 18th Annual A Taste of Britain - sponsored by Lanco MG Club. A great day of British cars and polo matches can be had by attending this show. A non-judged event and part of the proceeds go to the Toys-for-Tots program. Visit www.lancomgclub.com for info.
Sep 7-9 Watkins Glen Vintage Races - Join the CPTC caravan to this great weekend venue for some spectacular race and show cars.
Sep 8-9 British Car Show located at DelGrosso's Amusement Park just north of Altoona. Many club members swear this is one of the best little British car shows/driving events around, all for $25. For the entire family. For more info visit their web site or email mgnut@atlanticbb.net .

CPTC Summer Picnic One of our biggest events of the year.  Don't miss this one! We will again be at the lovely site of Allenberry Resort. This is a great event with lots of great cars, good food, activities and the best company. We received a lot of great donations for the silent auction and the Christmas party arrangements are to be decided. Be sure to attend.

Oct 6 British Car Festival sponsored by Shenandoah Valley British Car Club. This is their 25th anniversary, so come a celebrate with them in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The events take place in and around Waynesboro. For more info visit www.svbcc.net.

Fall Leaf Tour/Rally Our final driving event of the year. Again hosted by our good friends from Upper Dauphin.  Meet at the McDonalds in Elizabethville at 1:30. The ralley will end at the picnic grove for the open kettle cooked ham and bean soup and other home made specialties. RSVP to Ron Hain by Tuesday 10/26. This may be a tape ralley (All new tape).

General Membership Meeting. This is the annual membership meeting in which elections are held. Meeting to be held at the Rich Valley Golf Course. Meeting starts at 3 PM.

Holiday Party At the Rich Valley Golf Course Club House. For directions see www.richvalleygofl.net The evenings festivities will begin at 6:30 and run to about 10. Appetizers and a buffet meal will be served with non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar is available. Cost is $15 per person, payable to CPTC and sent to the clubs PO Box. Please have reservation in by November 23rd.The gift exchange will once again be played for individuals or couples wishing to participate, bring a gift of about $10 to exchange.  The turnout continues to grow and all truly have a great time.
